Local Organic Honey from Rescue Bees 🐝

A Different Kind of Honey — A Better One

A Different Kind of Honey — A Better One

Pure. Ethical. San Diego–grown.

Our honey isn’t mass-produced — it’s responsibly harvested from rescued bees right here in San Diego County. Every jar represents our commitment to protecting pollinators, supporting the local ecosystem, and producing honey the way nature intended.

A Different Kind of Honey — A Better One

Unlike commercial honey operations, our bees are rescued from homes, businesses, and properties throughout San Diego, then carefully relocated to safe, managed apiaries where they can thrive.

These bees continue doing what they do best:

  • Pollinating local plants
  • Strengthening the regional ecosystem
  • Producing small-batch, raw, organic honey

This means every jar is hyper-local, reflecting the diverse coastal and inland flora of San Diego.

Ethical Harvesting: Bees First, Always

A Different Kind of Honey — A Better One

Ethical Harvesting: Bees First, Always

We believe honey should never come at the expense of the hive.

That’s why we:

  • Harvest only about 10% of the honey produced
  • Leave 90% for the bees to sustain themselves naturally
  • Avoid over-harvesting, artificial feeding, or stress-inducing practices

By prioritizing bee health, we ensure stronger colonies, better pollination, and a more sustainable future.

Why Local San Diego Honey Matters

From Rescue to Jar — Our Honey Story

Ethical Harvesting: Bees First, Always

Our bees actively pollinate neighborhoods across San Diego County, including coastal and inland communities. This supports:

  • Local gardens and agriculture
  • Native plant species
  • Healthier ecosystems overall

Because our honey is produced locally, it also:

  • Reflects San Diego’s unique plant life
  • Is minimally processed
  • Retains natural enzymes, pollen, and flavor profiles

No imports. No blending. No shortcuts.

From Rescue to Jar — Our Honey Story

Our background in live bee rescue and relocation gives us a deep respect for bees and their role in our environment. Rather than extermination, we focus on preservation — and our honey is a natural extension of that mission.

Every jar:

  • Comes from rescued, protected bees
  • Is harvested with care and intention
  • Supports ethical beekeeping practices

You’re not just buying honey — you’re supporting local conservation.
